VIEWING OF OPAQUE OBJECTS: whole mounts of insects,
fabrics, paper, etc.
2. FILTER AND MIRROR SYSTEM conducts light
and substage using single bulb for reflected and transmitted
light viewing. Improves definition considerably with filter
location more distant from object.
3. MAKES VIEWING POSSIBLE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY at
window or outdoors in daylight. Daylight is transmitted through
the stage filter system. For darkfield viewing, cover filter.
4. ALL METAL ALUMINUM BASE AND YOKE. Anodized
aluminum stage, tube, light shield and lens cells.
5. HUYGENIAN EYEPIECE.
6. STANDARD THREAD MICROSCOPE OBJECTIVE.
7. USES STANDARD LAMP: 6-watt Westinghouse,
Sylvania or GE lamp, easily available in your location.
